Hello class,
Medical terminology is like its own language. After 10 years in the military medical field, I am now learning that not everyone understands what I’m saying. I am now in the IT field now. This language allows medical professionals to communicate more effectively and encourages reporting. The way that our days start and end with huddles to say what we will be doing for the day. Others would feel like they are in another country. I had a doctor that I worked for a few years; I would know what he would need before he would even know. Also, when it is time to start and end shift the turn over from one provider to the next is a fast process. It is important to get a clear understanding of the patients state and what to do next. Medical terminology makes it so that everyone gets a clear and quick understanding. It helps workers save time by ensuring that they do not have to describe in plain English complicated medical issues and concentrate on patient care

Understanding medical terminology is super important especially when your working in the medical field. This terminology allows all medical professionals to communicate a little bit more effectively and it also encourages reporting. Believe it or not this helps workers save more time by ensuring them to not have to describe in plain English complicated medical issues and also concentrate on the patients care. Medical records will allow quick but also accurate documentation of each and every patient information. this term is important to know because if you don’t know how to access patients information and if you don’t know what the term medial records mean you will have a hard time performing your job/functions. Health information manager, medical records manger & medical billing specialist all are also important. These three are terms that you have to be on point with. As a manager you cannot make any mistakes you have to know exactly what your doing at all times because your managing other and these people need to know how to do their job.
