Discussion in higher-level analysis is to be improved. make reference to the course names for teh concepts you include in your discussion.
The mid-term reports are a
summary of your activities during each week. Include information such as:
▪ Week/Date (week ending)/Student Name
▪ Company/Department name/Name of supervisors and co-workers
▪ Activities
▪ Challenges or problems faced, (with co-workers, with work given (or not
given, etc.) and any resolutions or requests for assistance.
▪ Higher Level Learning: Consult previous textbooks and notes to reflect and
provide one or more examples of:
1. Applying theories or concepts to practical problems or in new situations.
a. What did you see that you remember from your classes?
2. Analyzing the basic elements of an idea, experience, or theory, such as examining
a particular case situation in depth and considering its components.
a. Using something that happened during the week, break apart “why” it
happened and think what you would do to solve it (using material seen in
any of your classes at ZU).
3. Synthesizing and organizing ideas, information or experiences into new, more
complex interpretations and relationships.
a. Did things happen during the week which, although at first look are not
connected, have a similar cause?
4. Making judgments about the value of information, arguments, or methods such
as examining how others gathered and interpreted data and assessing the
soundness of their conclusion
a. Do your co-workers around you come up with similar “reasons” why
things happened as you do? If yes why, if not, why not?
