A team from SalesForYou is looking to purchase widgets to resell directly to customers. You are the leader of the team from Ally Wholesale and interested in negotiating an offer to sell SalesForYou the widgets at a wholesale cost.
Part 1: Bargaining and Problem Solving
SalesForYou understand that Ally Wholesale is not providing them the best price but that the quality they wish to provide their customers will only come from Ally Wholesale and never from All For the People, Ltd. They would still like to go with 25% deposit because that is all they budgeted for the remainder of the fiscal year. As a representative of Ally Wholesale, you offer to go with the 25% deposit if the second deposit can be made at the beginning of the next quarter which will allow them to pay the next year.
Prepare a recording as follows:
Respond to your peer’s clarification and justification video.
Explain and reiterate your deposition requirements (refer to week 2).
Discuss your willingness to deviate from this rule and provide a breakdown of how them deposit will be paid.
Explain how the agreement of them split in deposit is a win-win situation.
