Review the images attached below (ill add #6 once assignment chosen)and describe the artist’s view of nature and approximate date of production. Note: I am not trying to trick you with the approximate date of production. The view of nature will give you an idea of the approximate production date of said art.
#1: What is the view of nature in this painting and the approximate date of production?
#2: What is the view of nature in this illustration and the approximate date of production?
#3: What is the view of nature in this movie poster and the approximate date of production?
#4 Write a short paragraph (3-5 sentences) that compares and contrasts the contemporary/societal shifts between these two boxes and the 29 years that separate them.
#5 This is the next iteration of animal crackers as PETA petitioned them to depict the animals in their natural habitat. For a moment, suspend your understanding that gorillas do not live on the African savannah, do you think this illustration hit the mark? Why? Hmm, where have you seen this composition before? Think about it, think about it, think about it. If you have a guess, mention it in your response.
#6. Taking into account everything covered in chapters 1 (Studio vs. Applied), 3 (The Disappearing Century,) and 4 (Making Art That Connects), write
a 3-5 sentence description of this painting. Also, give this piece a title.

Define in detail what you are looking at, not what you think… write about it as if you were describing the image to someone who could not see it. Tip: Try this on a friend and experiment with how well they imagine your descriptions and then show them the work! Could they imagine what you described?
Do NOT critique the art. This is not about your opinion or what you “think” of the work. Do NOT state, “I like, or I don’t like” in your papers. You will be docked points for these statements in the breadth of your paper. However, you may make those comments only as a very brief closing statement. It is interesting to know how you preferred each event.
Refrain from trying to “figure it out”. Allow yourself the freedom to have the experience and then write your paper and/or you could write as you are looking. Find a strategy that works for you. The writing element of this assignment helps you realize what you were paying attention to. Your goal is to “pay attention to what you pay attention to.” Write what you see, not what you think.
Be sure to write strictly about the art, not everything else: such as bio of the artist, history, intent, or your previous artistic experiences. Be sure to use titles and artists name as an introduction to the work you will describe. It is important to give credit to any work you discuss. Note: This is not a research, biography, or comparison paper. This is an observation paper. Just write your observations.
Write or paste the paper into the submission field within the Bb assignment. Or load the paper as a file on Blackboard.
*Note: If you are a Distance Learning student or unable to visit the gallery in person you may write your Field Experience papers based on the following exhibition:
MoMA: Virtual Views
https://www.moma.org/calendar/groups/58
“Virtual Views” is an online exhibition that you may use to write the Field Experience papers. You decide which collections to look at and write about. Each exhibition has several images and interactive information. Be sure to include the name of the exhibition and the title of each work you discuss in your papers. Do NOT copy information from the site. This is not a reference-based paper, it is an observation paper. You may use this online gallery to write both of your Field Experience papers, however I strongly suggest you visit the UNI Gallery of Art as a preferred method in completing these assignments. It is a rich and rewarding experience to view art in person as intended by the artist.Two-page, double spaced length minimum. You may write more. Do NOT include additional spacing. You will be docked points for “puffing” up your paper with spaces. Note: When submitting your paper on Blackboard you may find the formatting has adjusted. Do not worry if it is converted to single spacing. This will not mark against you as it appears organized on the other side.
State your observations. Choose a few pieces (3-4) of art to focus on and describe in detail. Include formal descriptions as described in the Gateways to Art textbook (materials, methods, style of work). The vocabulary from your textbook will assist you greatly in learning how to think about art.

You will be designing and creating a creativity map of your life. Think of all o

You will be designing and creating a creativity map of your life. Think of all of the things a map has: pathways, landmarks, a key, routes, special places along the way, the list goes on. Maps can tell us where we are going or hope to go and they can tell us where we have been. This map should start at your childhood, move to the present, and then to the future.
Your map should reflect your path thus far – has it been a bumpy road, has it been smooth sailing, have you gone on any detours, etc… It should also reflect what you think the future will look like: where are you headed, what will it be like, how will you get there, what stops will be along the way, etc…
Above all remember that this class is about the nature of creativity, Along the way you should have examples of the different parts that creativity has played in your life as well as how you hope to use creativity in the future. You can use symbols, images, words, pictures, whatever makes sense to you to tell your story
Your map must be done on a large piece of poster board (approximately 24 x 36 inches). You can use whatever other materials you wish. It can be flat or 3-D. It can use photographs, magazine and newspaper collage, drawings, found objects, etc…
You should submit one photograph of your entire project and two detailed photographs of areas on your map that are particularly important or interesting to you.
You should also turn in an artist statement as a written .pdf. Your artist statement should contain the following:
Your name
Your media (what materials you used)
Your reason for making this art piece, including why you made the choices you did
Your process for making this project
I wrote everything should be written in board below
1-my name is wejdan I was born in 2001 I am the middle child of nine siblings, which has shaped much of who I am today 2- Middle East was my home for my entire life, where I had privilege of growing up surrounded by my family and friends who played a significant role in my life 3- after high school I found myself uncertain about my future. Fortunately I received a scholarship to study abroad in the united state, opening new possibilities for me. 4- I initially enrolled at VT to study tourism. How ever my first year were challenging- being far away from home and my family and friends, combined with the ones Covid made it even more difficult. 5- I decided to change my major to aviation management and moved to Michigan and this decision marked a turning point for me. My year at Michigan was positive experience every thing started to fall into place. 6-After graduation I plan to go back to my home country and work to develop the best airport in the world.
