Analyzing needs assessment information and integrating each persons’ requests

Analyzing needs assessment information and integrating each persons’ requests can be challenging. However, such analysis is necessary to create job-embedded professional development that meets the needs of the school or district.
Part 1
Compile results from the needs assessment administered in Topic 1 to determine school or district needs . Create a graph to visually demonstrate the data.
Part 2
Using the results, choose one identified need to create a job-embedded professional development session . Create a 12-15 slide digital presentation to be implemented as a professional development in Clinical Field Experience C.
Include the following in your presentation:
Detailed information on the selected topic
Rationale or justification for how it will improve job performance
Practical application of the topic
A learning activity to reinforce application
Related materials, including supplementary documents, handouts, or videos/links
Title slide, slide notes, and reference slide
Email the link to your Satisfaction Survey created in EDU-586 to the session participants at the conclusion of Clinical Field Experience C.

As a sports information, or public relations person in the sports industry, you will write a lot of news/press releases. Write your own sports news release on a sports topic
focus on whether you were able to garner all the necessary information about the person, place, or thing based on the release.
“A press release is simply a statement prepared for distribution to the news media announcing something claimed as having news value with the intent of gaining media coverage.”

The release should provide who, what, where, when, why, and how in the first one or two sentences. This is the opening paragraph, and should never be more than one paragraph.
The body of the news release should provide additional information pertinent to the subject. Depending on the release, the body should be one or two paragraphs, with each paragraph being three to five sentences. The body is the story part of the news release.
The last paragraph is the boilerplate. This provides an overview of the company or organization, a quick snapshot. This is similar to the About Us section of most company websites, although the boilerplate may be a shortened version.
All press releases need to include point of contact information, which goes at the very top. There should also be something that signifies the end. Many public relations people will center ### at the bottom of the page to signify the end. In the sports industry it is also common to see the team name, initials, or such at the end of the list.

After the successful marketing and public relations campaigns your company created, the local Little League baseball organization has contacted the athletic director about using the University’s facilities for the opening day ceremonies. This is a first for the school, so they have again contracted your company to help them manage the event.
The opening ceremonies include an introduction of the 10 teams in the league, recognition of last year’s champion by the city’s mayor, and the tip-off game between last year’s first and second place finishers. Area dignitaries will attend the ceremonies (you pick them!), and someone will be honored by throwing out the first pitch. Remember your client is located in Mobile, AL.
You need to create an event management plan for the day, which includes a timeline of the day’s activities, location of emergency services, concessions, parking, security, restrooms, etc. Be sure to include handling of the dignitaries.

A unit plan is a continuous plan that allows a teacher to map out the learning progression of objectives and standards and how they will be met. When developing an integrated unit plan, early childhood educators must plan meaningful and creative ways for students to demonstrate their learning of the social studies, ELA, and arts standards.
Building on the assignments from Topics 1-4, use the “ECE-650 3 Day Unit Plan Template” to complete a 3-day unit plan that integrates ELA and the arts into social studies instruction.
Title of Unit and Brief Summary: Create a title for your unit and write a brief summary of your lessons based on the selected standards.
Classroom Factors: Describe the student demographics and classroom environment, including students with exceptionalities. Discuss how these factors affect planning, teaching, and assessing students.
Early Learning Standards or Content Standards for social studies, ELA, and the arts.
Learning Targets/Objectives: Aligned to the selected early learning or content standards.
Academic Language: Key terms for this lesson.
Unit Resources, Materials, Equipment, and Technology needed for this lesson.
Depth of Knowledge Questions: One developmentally appropriate question for each level of understanding.
Anticipatory Set: Explain how you will introduce the lesson and activate prior knowledge to trigger students’ curiosity and engagement in the lesson.
Multiple Means of Representation: Explain how you will present the content in developmentally appropriate and evidence-based ways to engage all learners in instruction that supports young children’s learning.
Multiple Means of Engagement: Explain how you will facilitate and guide developmentally appropriate and challenging learning opportunities for each child to explore, practice, and apply the content.
Multiple Means of Expression: Describe formative and summative assessment methods that will be used to monitor student progress during the lesson and modify instruction.
Extension Activity and/or Homework: Create a meaningful extension activity that can be completed in the classroom or at home that will allow students to further explore the theme.
In a 250-500 word rationale, answer the following:
How does your unit plan apply appropriate pedagogical content knowledge, content standards, and/or early learning standards to plan developmentally appropriate and challenging learning opportunities for each child?
How did you use knowledge of the developmental period of early childhood to create developmentally appropriate and evidence-based instruction that supports young children’s learning?
