This is no easy task, and I need you to pay close attention to the instructions

This is no easy task, and I need you to pay close attention to the instructions please. I will attach a “directions” file below that will outline the very basic idea to write a case study. However, here are the instructions that go with it.
I have attached an “case study outline” document that gives a basic overview of the topic, along with a pretty simple yet organized outline of how the case study will flow. This organization is up to your judgement, and if you want a few changes do as you feel will be best for the case study. In this outline includes descriptives of each section along with a BUNCH of links to find additional information about the sections mentioned. Please use ALL of the links to find information, charts, maps, and anything else you need to complete the case study. Make sure to use quotes from the interviews!!!!
I have conducted two interviews, and will be doing another one tomorrrow in a few hours that I will provide to you for information. I have taken pages of the notes and also transcribed the responses for the interviews, for you to use all of the information necessary. Please keep in mind the section about the third interview with Debbie Larson will not be found attached until tomorrow, so if you are writing please leave the space open for me to fill that in later. Essentially “skip” over and leave that blank. Please use the interviews along with all of the information to its full extend to complete the writing.
I have attached also a document that outlines the “themes” of urban studies to keep in mind when writing, as this is for an urban studies course.
Please also use the “Dariush sales interview” to highlight the personal side of what the fires are like from a victims standpoint I forgot to include that in the outline
The community brigade roadmap will be attached and a few other files that you will find useful to complete the task.
I also didn’t mention it there but there should be a section on the area of calabasas that will tie into the Debbie larson interview. there is information here on the zoning and budget and it includes charts and maps https://www.cityofcalabasas.com/government/public-safety-emergency-preparedness/emergency-evacuation-zones
Please please please, if you need absolutely anything from clarification, to more research, or anything you need me to provide just ask. I will do so in a timely manner as fast as I can respond to you. Please be aware I will be asleep for the next couple of hours, and will help a lot when I wake up in the morning.

Select two photos ( the pictures will be 1. park ( In Los Angeles) 2. and a graduation picture with a green space background (I cannot send the pictures)) that describe your biographical background as it relates to the environment. Citing a minimum of 2 required readings (from week 2), explain how the photos are representative of your environmental biography. In addition, describe the specific learning outcomes you seek to gain from this course. See FAQ and Grading Rubric below. FAQ:
1) What is an Environmental Biography?
It is a description of how you have experienced the built (buildings, parks, sidewalks, freeways, anything human-made) and natural environment (waterbodies, green spaces, trails, wilderness, anything that is natural) in your daily life (can include work experience and education).
Choose 2 out of the 3 readings from Week 2 that resonate with your lived experiences, particularly when you think about the environment and the space you grew up/lived in/worked at/where you went to school.
It could also be your experience from other times and walks of life such as traveling, experience moving from one neighborhood to another, and so on.
2) You should ideally take pictures because these spaces are what you experienced. Unless these are about some prominent landmark such as the LA County Museum of Art, for which you can find images online, you should use pictures that best describe your experience in those spaces (cite your source).
3) 600 words is the minimum word count for the entire assignment.
4) Use in-text APA citation format and reference/citation page. https://owl.purdue.edu/owl/research_and_citation/apa_style/apa_formatting_and_style_guide/in_text_citations_the_basics.htmlLinks to an external site. 5) Include your name, date, class, and assignment title.

Project: Activating a Revitalization Plan for the Dundas-Sherbourne Neighbourhood
The Issue Tree (Outline of Plan)
SMART Problem Statement → MECE Recommendations → SMART Implementation Plan

Plan for acquiring 214-230 Sherbourne Street
Full-scale community engagement process
These may become 3-point plan
Task 1: SMART Problem/Purpose Statement
SMARTSpecific, not general
Measurable
Action-oriented
Relevant to the issue
Time-bound
Example: To reduce bird deaths associated with high buildings by 70% within 5 years by updating bird safety guidelines.

Give a hint of where money/resources will come from Task 2: Background Research

Key considerationsFocuses on 3 things to tackle in recommendations (3-point plan)
Describe, in full sentences, our plan
Shape of the problem

To do:Do not make it terribly long
Challenges here must align with rule of three in plan
Task 3: MECE Issue Tree
3 recommendations
Mutually Exclusive, Comprehensively Exhaustive
Two dimensions:Mutually Exclusive: each heading cannot overlap; must deal with separate issues
Comprehensively Exhaustive: must address the problem statement in a comprehensive and exhaustive manner; will we address the problem statement? – address minimum 80% of the problem
Task 4: SMART Recommendations
Must be numbered and smart
Recommendation 1:3 sub-points
Timeframe, resources, funding
Recommendation 2:3 sub-points
Timeframe, resources, funding
Recommendation 3:3 sub-points
Timeframe, resources, funding
Take these off the right-hand side of the issue tree
