What to do
What you’ll need to do for this Discussion is post the ‘outline’ of your TED Talk, which is your Final Speech in this class.
The following questions are taken from the PDF below titled “Illustrated TEDx Speaker Guide.”
Time limit: 4 to 4.5 minutes (not 18 minutes as it claims on the PDF).

Please answer the following questions. This is essentially the outline of your talk. In my example post, I haven’t answered these questions, but I have attached two PowerPoint slides for you to look at.
1. How do you plan to make your audience care in your talk’s opening? As it states on the PDF, you can make your audience care by “…using a relatable example or intriguing idea.”
2. How will you explain your idea “clearly and with conviction”?
3. What information from sources (your ‘Logos’) will you use? How will you describe that information? Note: please remember that you can only use sources from Berkeley’s databases. Please include the direct URL link to the source(s) you’ll be using. I’ve created my own example here to help you. Please answer this question exactly like this example I’ve created (imagine I were doing my final speech on the importance of family): I perused Berkeley’s ProQuest Central database and found an article titled “Family time — the unseen benefits of sharing a meal at home.” Here is the direct link to that article: Link to the ProQuest Central article
4. What will your ‘call to action’ be?
5. How will you “reveal the new reality”? How will the audience’s “…lives be affected if they act on your idea”?
