Is there anything that Descartes has failed to adequately doubt in his program of hyperbolic doubt or philosophical skepticism? Has he been as thorough as he seems to think he needs to be in calling all of his presuppositions into question? In other words, does he sufficiently adhere to the very high standard of skepticism that he has set for himself?
