My topic is on the issue we face on domestic violence. Domestic violence is a serious issue that is prevalent in the United States therefore my interest in researching the statistics on lack of reporting, mental and physical abuse, falsified reports, and other issues that are involved in domestic violence. This week you will determine the location, population and sample size for your Proposal. Determine how you would obtain the data for your proposal. Sample size must be 10 or more, select a location, and the time period must be one year. You must also select the type of sampling. Sampling examples are-random sampling, snowball, stratified, simple random sampling. You can obtain your data by a survey or available data from a state, local, or federal agency.
EXAMPLE: Topic: Domestic Violence among police officers. Data: In this study the population of 1000 and sample size of 100 incidents of domestic violence will be collected from the city of Miami Gardens Police department from January 1, 2018 thru December 31, 2018. (A random sample of 100 incident of domestic violence will be selected as the sample population).
