The purpose of this assignment is for you to explore the genetic transmission resulting in pathophysiology of a specific disease/disorder of interest to you–becoming the expert clinician, if you will. Then as the expert, you will develop a one page resource page on your topic–current evidence based guideline, and fun/creative venues to learn about your topic–you audience being practicing NPs, and patients–across different settings of care.
You will use a minimum of three references-the McCance & Huether text is a starting point and is not included in the references but may be included in your citation. Please do not reference the lecture slides. Other references should be dated within the previous 6 years.
