What passages in this reading were important points? For this discussion board, I want you to 1) quote a passage which expresses a key point of this article (Put them in quotation marks with citation of the page from which the quote is taken), 2) explain the quotes in your own words, and then 3) discuss why this is important and in what ways this informs us about the history of migration in the united states.
