In this assignment, you will begin to define performance and choose a measurement approach for your job. Return to the job description you created (be sure and use the latest one from the Chapter 3 Assignment that includes the unit-level mission statement). Each question is worth 10 points. My proffesor gave me feedback on Assignment# 3 – The HR Mission statement in the response document does not match the one on the job description. The one on the job description is not HR specific. Make sure all action verbs in TDRs end in “s”, even those in the KSAs. An HR Manager would not be performing file maintenance or clerical tasks. The first few items under Knowledge are TDRs. You could have created a Preferred Education/Experience section with SHRM and/or HRCI certifications, Master’s degree, etc. You did not include the language provided to include before the signatures (that the incumbent understands the job, there may be other duties as assigned, etc.).
