The assignment is for me to create a ‘Qualitative’ & ‘Quantitative’ Literature Review Matrix for my Picot Question (see below).
I have to find 1 qual & 1 quan article and fill out the template (worst worst case: find 2 quan or 2 qual if one of each can’t be found). Essentially, these matrices I will use to write my final paper later at the end of the semester. I attached a file of the directions, along with a previously completed matrix (use for reference).
PICOT Question: “In hospitalized patients with sickle cell disease, how does the implementation of patient-controlled analgesia pump, compared to intermittent nurse-administered analgesia impact patient-reported pain management outcomes during vaso-occlusive crises?”
