Part II (8-11 pages excluding references, tables, or figures) must be organized by the following subheadings. Summary of the case (1-1.5 pages)- describe the case with sufficient pertinent detail so that others will be able to understand the case conceptualization Case conceptualization (3 pages) 1. The bulk of the work will be addressing the 8P’s using the case scenario chosen. 2. Thoroughly address each ā€œPā€ in this order: a. Presentation b. Predisposition c. Precipitants d. Protective Factors/Strengths e. Pattern f. Perpetuates g. Plan h. Prognosis Engagement and Assessment (1.5- 2 pages) 1. What is the plan to engage with this family? Make sure to address who, how, when, and where. 2. What is the assessment plan and what assessment tool(s) will be used? 3. How does the selected model of clinical social work practice with families inform the assessment plan? Intervention Planning (1-2 pages) 1. Based on the tenets and interventions of the model of clinical social work practice with families that were selected in Part I, identify at least one (1) intervention goal and up to three (3) related objectives (1/2 page). 2. From the perspective of the clinical social work practice with the families model chosen, what are important considerations for this intervention plan (1/2- 1 page). Critique (1 -2 pages) 1. Discuss the strengths and weaknesses or relative utility of the selected model of clinical social work practice with families, the extent to which this approach allows the strengths and wisdom of families holding marginalized identities to be centered and any questions you identified.
