This week we are going to focus on Life Balance. The importance of balance is that it contributes to your happiness, success, and life satisfaction. It is very, very easy to get out of balance: you are working too much or goofing off to much and not getting all the things done that you would like or having the free time that you would like. Lots of feelings pile on to this lack of balance. This stage of your life is a perfect opportunity to create healthy habits and daily living plans so that you are the happiest, healthiest, most productive person you can be. This does not mean that you cannot have “down time” or should feel guilty for scrolling on your phone to relax. This is about the balance of the sum of all of your activities. If you are screen scrolling to avoid writing that paper that is due – that is not healthy. If you are screen scrolling through some feed to relax for a bit – that is healthy. Again, balance.
