In terms of ADA compliance, a person over age 40 is considered an “older worker.” Given that back
injuries are the most common for older workers (and younger ones too), choose a specific task in the
hospitality industry and suggest a way to avoid that injury. Why is it important to support older
workers in this way?
How does sleep deprivation affect hospitality employees and what can you do as a manager to ensure
that you are not contributing to an employee’s lack of sleep?
