This assignment bridges the gaps between theory and practice and enables students to engage creatively in proposing resolutions to alleged violations of human rights.  
You will choose a contemporary situation/case study in which one or more emerging human rights issues are involved, create a PowerPoint presentation, and present your case study to the class. Your presentation should be a total of 20 minutes which includes engaging the class in a discussion. Please ensure that you have at least 2 questions to engage the class in during the discussion period.
Please address the following in your assignment:
What is the emerging human rights issue (theme)?
What are the human rights involved?
Who are the parties involved (stakeholders, protectors, etc.)? 
What are your proposed interventions? Naming and shaming? Sanctions? International intervention? Prosecution? Others? What are the anticipated outcomes?
