This design assignment will offer a framework of how students will be assessed using a variety of platforms and tools; in doing so, a detailed outline will be constructed for assessing students within a particular context (ex. grade or academic level, subject matter) along with learning objectives and performance objectives; and which will include a description of prospective learners; a rationale for choice of assessment instruments; as well as a discussion of practicality, reliability and validity issues; and a discussion of assessment considerations relating to students who are second language learners, or students who may have accommodation needs or learning disabilities.
