For this assignment, I have provided a Small Business Plan Template (see “Small Business Plan Template: Part One” in Module 2) to outline which sections will be required for each part of the assignment. You will also find additional notes regarding the expectations for each section. Part One of your Business plan will cover sections 1 (Introduction), 3 (History), 4 (Description of the Business), & 7 (Ownership and Management Structure).
You will also need to add information to your Appendixes (section 10) throughout your project. Appendixes might include items such as resumes of key employees, equipment lists, financial projections and budgets, market research, references, etc. For additional examples, please see the sample Small Business Plan included in the textbook.
Additional Requirements:
No minimum word count is required, however your submission is expected to be as thorough as possible.
Formatting and organization should follow the Small Business Plan Template. Headings MUST be used.
Writing should be clear and concise, follow the guidelines listed under “Writing the Plan” (pg. 148)
Any references (if used) should be in APA formatting. Both in-text citations and a references section are required.
Content is expected to be original and display analytical and critical thinking skills.
Grading Criteria
Part 1 of your small business plan is worth 50 total points based on the following:
Displays Critical Thinking and Analysis Skills (15 Points)
Thoroughly addresses all parts of the assignment (20 Points)
Follows correct formatting and displays quality writing (15 Points)

My organization is involves the ability to do all things basketball. From open runs to private sessions, tournaments, training sessions etc… Whatever a customers desire is when it comes to basketball, we will provide. Also areas that involve basic strength training, a recovery center and a liaison group to help with other needs that my facility may not provide. The name is Hoop Space as I believe consumers like a name that is relatable to the product but simple at the same time. We would be located near a semi-rural area; in between the city and the country.
