Final Paper (Problem Analysis)
Assignment Instructions
This analysis project requires you to tackle a problem within your field of study by first exploring it, its causes, and its impacts. Then, if you want, you can recommend one or more practical solutions to solve the problem.
After deciding on the problem you wish to tackle, begin building questions about it. Your goal for the analysis is to answer the questions through your sources. Finding multiple angles and perspectives is ideal so that you explore those possibilities in the final paper before settling on your recommendation. Be sure to identify what is at stake.
Here are questions to help guide your analysis:
What is the problem being addressed (explain, describe, and “prove” that it exists)?
Who is affected by this problem?
Why does this problem exist? (Identify the root causes.)
Why does the problem persist? (Identify the major factors that contribute to the problem’s ongoing presence.)
What is at stake if the problem is not solved?
If you decide to include a solution, use these questions to guide you:
Who can take action?
What should they do, exactly?
Why would this help?
What are the positive and negative aspects of your solution(s)?

PURPOSE: To analyze a problem and possibly provide a solution
AUDIENCE: Classmates, others interested in the field
LENGTH: 750-900 words (Times New Roman font). Please do not go significantly (~10%) under or above the word count requirement. This word count includes only the paragraphs in your final essay (not the Works Cited/References page or previously submitted sections).
SOURCES: 5 (five) sources from the APUS Library (These may include sources you used in previous assignments. Going under this number will cost points in grading.)
FORMAT: The citation style that is appropriate for your discipline

The Unilever corporation has many different business practices and strategies that maintain its persistent success. Therefore, the company is one of the most recognizable names in the global consumer market. As a multinational company, Unilever faces possibilities and challenges in planning and creating its supply chain techniques in the context of globalization. The positive implications include an approach to global markets and a wide backlog of talent. Nevertheless, operating a complex supply chain presents challenges, such as logistical and social sensitivity issues. The dominant type of Unilever’s strategy is the Sustainable Living Plan that this company has projected. The plan connects to earnings, manages growth, decreases costs, predicts risks, and attracts talent (Manjurul 680). The three companies’ missions of improving health and well-being, reducing ecological impact, and increasing maintenance have all been reached. Sustainable Living Plan implementation has an extensive influence on the company’s transformation due to its multifaceted approach and flexibility in the inconsistent business environment.
Unilever continuously develops its strategy and implements new approaches and methods in supply chain management. Until recently, the only concern of the company’s supply chain management was to gain a competitive edge and minimize costs, but now, there is a necessity to implement green supply chain management (Rahal and Ines 678). This process includes key factors such as the company’s operational efficiency and environmental concerns. Green supply chain management considers more eco-friendly practices to optimize the organization’s activities to a higher level. I recommend the organization develop a deep communication process with customers and stakeholders to improve its sustainability and profitability. As a result, the company can gain positive feedback and strengthen its position in the global market.
