Hi Writer,
Please look into all the files/folder
– Coursework format/details and instructions for the report have been attached at the last
– How R is used to segregate and check if there are 4 groups
– Talk about the R process in the report and the results and analysis of using the R system
– Write the report according to the results
– Debate on 4 or 5 subgroups and support 4 subgroups
– Why there is confusion between the 4 or 5 groups? The original paper says 5 but 4
Preferred structure for the write-up:
1) Introduction
2) Subgroup discovery – how to use data/results to show 4 groups but not 5 groups? How do you explain it? (don’t have to show all PCA results, use the best graph/figures)
3) Differentially expressed genes – Can we analyse what kind of biological process happens from stage 1, stage 2, stage 3, and stage 4? (main part: how do we identify them), Gene ontology analysis, how does the disease progression work?
4) Classifier and its application to the external dataset – is the classifier usable (give a convincing answer) based on what reasons? machine learning
5) Conclusions
6) References (Vancouver)
– Images generated from the R system have also been attached to support the report, so they can be used as well
– There are a few articles that my lecturer has provided for writing the report, so they can be used as well (first 3 files)
– 1500-word lab report, 300 words per section or more for important points.
– Vancouver referencing
– You can use how many references you want for the content accordingly, for now, I’ve mentioned 20
– Files 1 to 3 (Articles)
– Files 4 and 5 (Personal notes)
– Files 6 to 18 (lab 1)
– Files 19 to 28 (lab 2)
– Files 29 and 30 (lab 3)
– File 31 (Coursework format)
Please write the coursework in MS Word.
Thank you.
