I am in the data collection and identification phase for my PhD research in finance entitled “Three Essays on the Relationship between Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and Compensation in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Countries”.
There are 3 subtopics under this main topic. Each subtopic has an equation that represents the relationship in the dependent and independent variables, which are as follows:
Essay 1: Directors’ Compensation and Environmental, Social, and Governance Performance in the GCC Countries
Essay 2: ESG-Based Compensation and Firms’ Performance in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Countries
Essay 3: Exploring the Influence of ESG-Based Compensation on Corporate Risk-Taking Behavior in Listed Companies in the GCC
This research relies on quantitative methodology. Secondary data is collected through platforms that provide this data, such as Refinitiv Workspace or Capital IQ, so that the data is available in companies’ annual financial reports.
I need help collecting data and determining its type in the attached Excel file.
– Attached: an Excel file for the data – a Word file explaining the research methodology.
– Note: The sample size is not 685 as stated in the Word file. The sample size could be from 50 to 150 non-financial companies in the GCC.
