Nursing may not seem like a project management-heavy field, but I’ve had to plan and execute tasks to meet deadlines. My community health education fair planning stands out. At this event, poor community members could receive life-saving screenings, learn about preventative care, and connect with local resources. To carry off this event, healthcare practitioners, community groups, and volunteers must collaborate I realize how important project management principles like communicating, controlling risks, and incorporating stakeholders are. This training will help me open a nursing home by strengthening my healthcare project management skills and awareness of these ideas.
