The student will select a bill from the 2024 Virginia General Assembly related to healthcare. The student will complete a literature search to learn more about the topic and gather data to support his/her support or opposition to the proposed legislation.
2. The student will write a letter to either his/her Virginia State Delegate or Virginia State discussing the bill ethier supporting or opposing proposed bill.
3. The student will prepare a 10-minute presentation using Microsoft PowerPoint to include a background of the topic/issue, the supporting and opposing sides of the topic/issue, the student’s support or opposition, and the current status of the bill. The presentation will utilize and cite at least three (3) professional references
