These articles will be the literature foundation for your Unit 3 Assignment.
Then, put yourself in the role of the legal advisor for your healthcare institution. You are tasked with providing a report to your C-suite leadership regarding the impact of vaccine mandates.
Instructions
Write a persuasive brief, presentation, infographic, or voice-recorded speech which includes the following:
Provide a historical overview of an individual’s right to make healthcare decisions for themselves and their children in the United States, including a discussion of how interest has changed from abortion to vaccination.
Discuss which states currently require vaccinations and under what circumstances.
Discuss the implications (negative and positive) of states requiring vaccinations.
Take a position in support of or against a federal vaccine mandate and explain why you chose your position, being sure to address its impact on education, employment, and society as a whole.
Make a recommendation and suggest a strategy regarding how your leadership should respond to vaccine mandates. Discuss how vaccine mandates impact operational decisions in health care.
Report your findings by using one of the methods below:
Memo/persuasive brief to your management team
Infographic
PowerPoint presentation (10–12 slides; speaker notes as needed to support assertions). Upload a separate Word document of your speaker notes to the same Dropbox.
5- to 7-minute speech (using a free online voice recorder such as Vocaroo). Upload a separate Word document of your scriipt to the same Dropbox.
Standards:
The use of first person is permitted for this assignment.
Cite at least three to five scholarly sources. APA format should be used for in-text citations and references. You do not have to include a running head, title page, introduction, or conclusion.
