Introduction
Carefully read the Hawaii Health Systems Corporation: The Politics of Public Health Systems, Case # 5 located on page 77 in Darr, Farnsworth, & Myrtle’s Case book. In this case, a healthcare executive facing continual public policy restructuring of Hawaii’s Health Systems Corporation must develop strategic options for his board to consider in response to this environmental uncertainty.

Develop a presentation that Dr. George Elliot could use to brief his board and senior executives in understanding the changes that occurred and options for responding to them.
In developing your presentation, consider the following questions:
Case Study Questions:
How might Elliot use the McKinsey 7-S or Bolman & Deal’s Four-Frame model to explore the issues and help his regional board understand the governance and structural changes and their impact on the region and the HHSC system?
How might the changes affect the region’s management structure and ability to deliver high-quality, cost-effective care to the local community? What are the advantages, disadvantages, and new opportunities?
