write a paper;
Provide an outline of your paper and a draft set of sources. Both components of the assignment should be combined and submitted as one document.
Your paper should address what cities should focus on in the future to serve their growing populations. This is the topic of your final paper.
Your paper should begin with a definition and description of urban studies.
Do not cite an existing definition of urban studies. You create your own definition of urban studies based on what you’ve learned from participating in this course.
Next, identify THREE issues or topics for cities to focus on in the future.
The issues/topics you identify can be directly from the topics covered in class; a variation on these topics; or new areas of consideration not covered directly in class.
Your paper should discuss each issue/topic and promising ways cities can plan for them using best practices—that is, programs, laws, and/or policies.
Finally, conclude your paper with what you feel is the most important of your three issues or topics.
Explain why you selected it, and why others should care about it.
Your Reference page should include at least six (6) credible, fact-based sources.
Four of your sources should be scholarly (peer-reviewed journals; nonpartisan research center publications; and/or government reports).
Two of your sources may come from popular sources (such as magazines or newspapers).
Your sources should connect directly to the priority areas you are focusing on (typically, two sources per priority area).
Wikipedia and non-academic blogs are not acceptable sources.
Please use an APA outlines for your paper.
