Purpose:
To reflect on your stress level (using the stress self-assessment you
already completed) and ways in which you can improve it or deal better
with it.
Instructions:
Review your self-assessment score and submit a 1-3 pages reflection
paper answering the following questions in the following order: (100%)
What does your score reveal about your current stress level? (10%)
Were you surprised by your score? Please elaborate on that as much as needed. (10%)
What are the main sources of stress in your life right now? Divide
all of them into 2 groups – those you have control over and those you do
not have much control over. Which of them are chronic and which are
temporary? How do these differences (high vs. low control, and chronic
vs. temporary) impact your experience of stress? (40%)
How do you cope with stress typically? Please explain for each of
the stressors you described in question #3- what coping methods bring
the best results and/or worst results when dealing with each (you can
present that using a table if that helps)? (40%)
The paper should be 1-3 pages long, font size – 12, and keep a 1.5 space between the lines.
