Compose an essay of 1,000 words defining the word home. In your definition, make sure to include examples that help the reader understand your definition and descriiptive language to help your reader see what you mean.
Use the strategies provided in the lecture slides (linked below) to an external site to create your body paragraphs. Your first body paragraph may compare your definition to the dictionary definition. Your second and possibly third body paragraphs must use one (per paragraph) strategy from the lecture slides (linked below): Connotation, Negation, or Analogy.
Your essay must be 1,000 words, and your word count must be included at the end of your essay.
Do not exceed 1,200 words. If you exceed 1,200 words, you will fail.
For this essay, you may use personal examples for your concrete details. This means you will need to use the first person pronouns (I, me, my), but do not use the second person pronouns (you, your, yours).
