You may use Power Point. For designs in PowerPoint infographics, click Design, Slide Size, and Customer Size. Your slide will be sized to Infographics Width 11″ Height 22″. Your Infographic should contain one slide total (not multiple slides).

Information for infographics can be communicated to the audience (your employees) through various forms, including words, images, graphics, charts, characters, bullet points, etc. Information can be short statements or abbreviated sentences. Long sentences are not good in infographics.

Application Recommendation
PowerPoint or Word are two applications that you can use to create your infographics. If you do not have access to these applications, you can install or use them online through Office 365. All Dallas College students have free access to both applications. Visit Dallas College Office 365 for students for more information about downloading or using online.
Alternative Option
Canva is a website where you can create free infographics. Create a free account and watch this tutorial to get an idea of how to do it. If you already know how to do it, dive in.
NOTE: Remember to save your work as a PDF if you are going to use PowerPoint or Word. Save it as a PNG or JPEG/JPG if you are using Canva.

You are required to select any current newsworthy item in the news related to any topic of study covered in the course outline during the term and write a brief paper (700 – 900 words double spaced) utilizing APA Formatting. Now within the latest generation of Roads men, no one is interested in taking over the family business. There have been generations of women in the family that have never even been considered to run the business. Now the board of directors for the business (made up entirely of Roads family members, with some older female family members in their 70’s included) has to chart the direction for the family business going forward. The board wants to keep the management of the business within the family, but are open to looking at other options as well. The business does have two older male employees, in their 60’s, who are supervisors and have been there for decades. However, they have not been trained to have a career path in managing the whole company.
What recommendations can you make with regard to talent management, career paths, and succession planning to help this company move forward on this issue?
