For this assignment in Clinical II – you are not actually completing the leadership project, but only reflecting on a possible project and then identifying and explaining your idea. I have included an example idea below. Leadership projects have to occur over a period of time. When completing the plan, think of it as a lesson plan for your project. Goals need to be something you measure and collect data on. Assessments are how will you collect your data for progress of the project. Example: You could lead a book study with several fellow teachers. This would call for agendas of meetings, sign-in sheets, PowerPoints, handouts with guiding questions, etc. Teachers could implement the strategies, or techniques that you discuss in the book study. Have follow-up meetings to see how the technique is progressing. You could either ask teachers for their feedback of the teaching strategy and/or create data sets based on student performance from the strategy. Finally, you could present your findings to the department, or the entire faculty. You want to have a clear purpose for your leadership project and show logical steps.
