This assignment is to demonstrate how to plan, develop, and implement a new group therapy series while integrating elements learned from completing the Jung Typology Test which is based on Carl Jung’s and Isabel Briggs Myers’ personality type theory.
For your group therapy evaluation:
1. Develop a therapy group of your choosing (can be for any substance abuse or psychiatric diagnoses such as for adult patients with a history of alcohol use disorders, adolescents with a history of eating disorders, mothers experiencing post-partum depression, etc.) and establish a theoretical framework for the group. The theoretical frameworks will come from your readings. (Will be in 3 attachments– choose one of them)
2. Complete the Jung Typology Test OnlineLinks to an external site. (TEST RESULT WILL BE IN AN ATTACHMENT)
2. Write a 2-3 page paper describing your group, theoretical framework for the group, and your Jung Typology Test Results, personality type, and how your strengths or preferences will influence you as a group facilitator.
