It is a workshop assignment where were must read the professors work conduct a workshop with the guidelines as follows:
-It must be no less then 500 word
Professors Guidelines (Copy/paste):
Part I – Guidelines
– First, no one is expected to read more than 5,000 words of a
submission. If a sketch is longer, the author should identify what 5,000
words are being workshopped. If that selection requires background
and context for comprehension, that context should be provided in the
author’s statement, which gets submitted along with the sketch.
– The author’s statement should identify the genre, the aim of the work,
and craft areas the author has struggled with (tone, character
representation, metaphor, ethical issues, etc.)
– Reviews should aim to be positive and dealing largely with conceptual
and craft elements at this stage. It’s not necessary to provide copy-
edits.
Part II – For the Discussion Board
– Identify at least three things that you admire about the work. (Be
specific)
– Offer at least three suggestions you feel would strengthen the work.
(Constructive criticism)
– Pose at least three questions for the author that you feel having
answered would give the text more clarity.
