This week, you will write a short paper on the topic of what constitutes quality academic or scholarly writing—which will include a discussion of the challenges that novice writers face. Address the following topics in your paper in the context of “the importance of a literature review” as noted in this week’s resources.
The difference between a literature review and other academic or scholarly writing
The structure or different parts of a literature review
The types of literature that are appropriate for a literature review
The importance of the summary discussion or synthesis
Concluding comments on what you found new or challenging.
Use the various resources provided this week to help you develop the paper. This should be an APA-style paper with a title page, an introduction, a series of sections using main headings (based on the five questions listed above), and a developed conclusion. Remember to paraphrase information from the sources (using appropriate citations) and keep direct quotations to a minimum (no more than one for a short paper).
Length: 3-4 pages, not including title and reference pages
Resources: Include a minimum of 3 scholarly sources. You may use the suggested readings or other appropriate scholarly resources.
